(: my partner and I love playing this - we're a little preoccupied with the Quest 3 and the 151 set at the moment but I look forward to the next milestone - I'm not sure if we'll look at the current build simply because it seems like waiting for the next update is more exciting but I download each previous build every update just to have a backup "just in case" (: as an Unreal developer, you're going to be alright with either decision - Unreal's 2D isn't perfect and I'm not sure how the web support is but for me Unity caused me to switch and I'm happy with the decision but to each their own - my project became a 3D game from what was going to happily be a 2D "spine" / Bone rigged characters in a 3D world (cult of the lamb style) but it wasn't worth the concern for me
